Monday Updates - the first for 2011

Update: Chris and Luciatea have correctly answered the too easy questions and are the winners of the upcoming release of Pulling Apart on Jaunary 09, 2011. Congrats!

Hope everyone had a great holiday season. Hard to believe we've started 2011.

I've been busily working on Accidentally His. I've given myself a due date of January 15th, and I intend to meet this date. If it kills me. Or something.

I'm really itching to get working on Sutter's Bay #3, Galaxy's Heart. I've been doing some light stuff lately and Accidentally His is no exception and that's fine. But I'm wanting to get back to the angst a bit and that story will fulfill that for me. And I so want to do it before I get too heavily involved in the stories I must have done later this year.

Okay, a few newsie things.

Beginning in 2011, I am going to be doing a mostly monthly newsletter. It will probably come out around releasing books, so don't expect to get bombarded with meaningless stuff. That's not my intention. If I don't have a release for whatever month, I may not even send a newsletter for that month. Anyway, the fabulous Ava March is helping me with this since I am fairly clueless about tech stuff. She has added a sign-up form for the newsletter on the blog and on my website: so either will work to sign up. Try it!

Two, it's time for the Pulling Apart contest.

Now, honestly, I think you need to have read Pulling Away in order to read Pulling Apart. But that's up to you. Rather than doing a comment contest, I'm going to do it this way:

I'm giving away two copies. In order to win one, you must be the first person to leave your answer here on the blog to one of two questions. Please do not answer both questions. Just one of the two. If you are correct, you win one copy. I hope that makes sense.

Here are the two questions (first to answer one question wins)

1) What is the name of the West Hollywood Bar that Noah goes to with Kevin?
2) Is Noah a top or bottom? *grins*

All right. That's it for now.

  1. My guess. 2. is top?

  2. You both win! lol

Yes, I made them rather easy, *wink

Luciatea correctly guessed Noah is a top and Chris correctly guessed Buddy's.

Congrats. Luciatea I will need your email to send you your book (please specify format). Just email me at

Chris, just let me know format for you.

  3. Woo-hoo!! :D

LIT would be lovely! Thank you so much!!!

    Shortest contest ever?

  4. lol I think maybe. I guess if I want to do a question contest again I will need harder questions. I did deliberately make them easy this time. I didn't want anyone going WTF? I gotta work for this? lol

  5. LOL, how about the color of Kevin's helmet? Um, Charlie's or Noah's screen name?

  6. Thank you so much! I must admit it was a bit of a gamble, because I haven't read Pulling Away yet... I know, very bad of me, but this book sounded so good :P So first: buying and reading Pulling Away :D I will send an e-mail

  7. I thought of that, Devon, but at least Buddy's required the search function, lol, I'm pretty sure the blurb for Pulling Away had Noah's screen name in it and I don't recall every giving Charlie one!

As for Kevin's helmet, I wanted to make the contest about Noah rather than Kevin, because Kevin sticks his nose into enough things! lol.

Thanks for giving Pulling Away and Pulling Apart a try, Luciatea. I hope you will enjoy both books!

  8. Well damn I didn't have it in the blurb! lol. That was one reason I didn't use it. Hell and damnation!

  9. LOL! Well, there you go, if you want to have another contest. Oh, and Charlie DID have a screen name. :)

  10. lmao, he did? ha ha ha ha, I can't even remember my own damn book! too funny! In my defense i wrote it in 2008!

  11. Congrats to the winners!

Shawn, I'm looking forward to your new release. :)

  12. I'm looking forward to your new releases, Shawn! :D

I'm excited to read more about Noah and Charlie. I hope you haven't put them through to much heartbreak! LOL:)

  13. Er just a little but I know I'd be stuck with a pitchfork if Noah's heart ended up broken, lol.

  14. Poor Noah! >.<
I can't wait though to see what you've come up with to cast them into a little turmoil! ;)

  15. Congrats Ladies...
