Er...Stylish Blog

My fellow Amber Allure author, K. C. Kendricks, author of What You Don't Confess, The Back Stairs, Give Me One Night, and many others has ...er...honored me with the Stylish Blog Award.

For those who have been nominated, there are few criteria to meet:

1. Thank and link back to the person who nominated you, only do not re-nominate them.

2. Share 7 things about yourself

3. Pass along this nomination to 10 6 recently discovered stylish and cool bloggers

4. Contact them and tell them about their nomination.

Okay, I admit I have not contacted anyone about their "award". LOL. Here are my Stylish Blogger nominees, in no particular order:

Yes, that's only six, and really my friends don't feel obligated
Seven things you might not know about me.

7. I really hate these things where I have to pick other bloggers. Really. (Sorry K.C.)

6. I love football (San Diego Chargers is my team)

5. I was born, raised and have lived in the Los Angeles area my whole life.

  1. Congrats on the award! (And I never pick anyone when I get one of those awards, so I completely understand.)

  2. Yeah I hate to be a killjoy but it's just not my thing to pick others to be pestered, lol.

I didn't pick yours because I wasn't even sure if yours is a blog anyway! lol.

That's why I said, I don't want anyone to feel obligated.

  3. LOL! It's a blog - it's just gown more toward entertaining and promo than to personal revelations in the last year. But I never respond to awards, other than to thank the awarder in their comments, so.... :)

  4. Thanks, Shawn!

I'll put the lovely award on my sidebar but will pass on passing it on. :)

I can't think of 7 things to share so I'll just comment on yours.

I agree with your #7 & 6 although for me it was the Miami Dolphins. I left Miami 11 years ago though and once I started working weekends and evenings I pretty much stopped watching TV. So, no favorite team now.

I was born in Cuba and came to the U.S. when I was seven. We lived in New Orleans for the first two years then moved to Miami. It was pretty scary not knowing the language but luckily I learned quickly.

Oh, I loved that song too. So sad!

I dreamed of becoming a doctor but gave it all up to get married young, have a child and work in a bank. Big mistake except for the kid!

I'm fascinated with medical/police procedural shows. Although I don't watch TV hubby and I do watch lots of CSI, NCIS etc on the computer.

I could not imagine not driving. I love the thrill of going fast (I think the song I can't drive 55 was written for me) and at the same time it's relaxing for me. Just get in the car, turn on some music and drive my stress out!

  5. Thanks, Shawn!

I didn't start driving until I was 19, which is late when you live in a place that doesn't have public transportation. However, I was terrified. My dad was terrified that I'd never break down and get my license.

  7. Thanks hon! Pick on me all you want, you know it's mutual. ;)

I'm so with you on the natural and historical disasters thing. I used to check out book after book on stuff like that when I was a kid, and when cable started showing all those shows on that kind of thing, I was just rapt.

  8. Congrats, and thanks! :)

You thought about being an FBI agent? Interesting, though you know what? I think you'd have been really good at it ;) Plus, I bet there would have been a lot of hotties at the academy (or where ever people go to become FBI agents). Lots of inspiration for the muse.
