Wednesday Musings

If he abuses an old dog, he'll abuse you.

I love my bff, muah!

I adore my online friends and readers, you are the best.

If I had a time machine, I'd go back to the last time I saw my dad alive and tell him I love him. I never said those three words because we didn't come from a family that did.

If I could go back a second time, I'd go back to the day I decided not to go to the Cal State University I had been accepted to. Dumb mistake.

If I could take a trip anywhere I would go to England. I've wanted to for years and haven't gone. I've been to Ireland and Germany but not England, and I would love to go someday. I don't know if it will ever happen though.

  1. Totally agree with the first..have seen it in action. I hope Lucy gets it soon.

Time machine moment..ditto with my dad. Dunno why we never said those things aloud.

    Love you back!! :)

  2. I know, it is sad. Poor Eyre. I'd hate to have to see my bff going through that.

  4. Poor Lucy. At least she has Eyre to help her though whatever she decides to do.

I can relate to going back in time to tell your dad you love him. When my grandfather died of cancer, he had one great day before he died. I wish I could have taken the time to tell him how much he meant to me and how loved he was. Instead we just laughed and talked about mundane things.

You're a great friend, Shawn. Thanks for being the great person you are.

  5. I know exactly how you feel. I know your dad knew how much you loved him but it's still hard when you don't have the chance to say the words.
    WE love you, MA!

  9. My father and I weren't on speaking terms when he passed away five years ago. He was ashamed to have a homosexual for a son. I wasn't even allowed to attend the funeral because it would be to stressful on my other family.
I understand regret. But, you have to live with it and learn from it.
I bet your father knew how you felt.
    Love you too!

  12. Thanks, Maggie. I do love Barnaby. I figured he'd be popular with most of you. I think I love his brother just a tiny bit more, but I think Barnaby will remain more popular with most of you.
