March 26, 2009

Sorcerer's Lover 2 is finished and sent off to te editorial staff at Amber Quill. It's scheduled to be released the weekend of July 26th. So look for the continuing adventures of Warin and Benedict at the end of July.

I've decided I should submit to Dreamspinner Press just because of their beautiful covers. I was just looking at their website and their coming soon pages and I have to say I am impressed. Their covers are very nice. Much nicer than some publishers that have been at it for a while. Will I really submit something to them? Good question. I am considering it.

You know I have to wonder why I am thinking of new angtsy ways to torture my characters. Now that Sorcerer's Lover 2 is finished (edits to be determined), I can move on to one of my other projects. One of which is a book called, Pieces. As in, pick up the pieces, pieces of my heart, Reese's Pieces (oh sorry, I love Easter when Reese's Pieces Eggs come out, I LOVE THEM). Anyway, since one half of my couple is still dealing with the suicide of his lover it's not a book of light and roses.

In fact every book I intend to work on in the next few months is filled with angst. That's what I like to read as well so maybe that is why. I don't know. I just can't seem to write a happy, cheerful, conflict-free book.

  1. I totally agree that Dreamspinner Press has some of the best covers. I have been guilty buying there books because of it, too:) They would be lucky to have a great author like you join them! Good luck;)

P.S. You write some of the best angst out there...that's what your fans love about your books. They have to WORK to be together;)
